Sculptural fibre and textile art for interiors, collectors, and curated spaces.

Rooted in slow process and emotional storytelling, Kasia’s hand-knotted fibre and textile works are crafted to soften and transform modern spaces. Whether displayed in homes, collected privately, or commissioned for interior design projects, her art brings a quiet strength—inviting presence, stillness, and touch into the environments we live and move through.

  • the scars within

    Cotton cord, wool thread

    50 x 105 cm

A meditative exploration of healing, memory, and quiet strength. The Scars Within invites the viewer to witness the tension between softness and rupture—revealing how beauty lives inside the broken parts.

  • everything flows

    Cotton cord, wool thread

    60 x 107 cm

A gentle study of impermanence. Everything Flows draws on the rhythms of the natural world—its currents, its erosion, its quiet shifts—reminding us that movement and change are part of what makes us whole.

  • touch me softly

    Cotton cord

    120 x 60 cm
    Private collection

A tribute to the nurturing softness of a mother’s love—this work is a gentle invitation to pause, to be held, and to feel. Each tassel becomes a tender gesture, echoing the quiet strength and sensory richness of early connection. Made to comfort, to cocoon, and to remind us of where we began.

  • soulmates

    Cotton cord, wool thread

    110 x 120 cm
    Private collection.

Created as a tribute to the quiet, enduring connection between two people—Soulmates explores the strength and softness found in long-held love. Independent forms, deeply intertwined. A visual love letter to the space between us, and the threads that hold us close.

  • the show must go on

    Cotton cord, wool, reclaimed timber

    Diameter approx. 42 cm

A circular meditation on endurance and transformation, this piece speaks to the quiet resilience we carry when everything feels uncertain. The reclaimed timber centre holds the memory of time, while the hand-knotted rings echo the cycles we return to—again and again. Frayed edges and fiery threads nod to disruption, but also to movement, creativity, and life refusing to stall.

  • flow

    Cotton cord on wooden dowels

    203 x 112 cm

An ode to surrender. Flow captures the quiet beauty of being carried—not by force or plan, but by trust in the movement of life. Layered knots fall like ripples, guided by gravity and instinct, reminding us that direction isn’t always necessary when presence is enough.

  • Custom macramé wall art in progress, tailored to fit a specific interior design style.

    for the love of texture

    Macra-weave, cotton and mixed fibres

    Private Collection

A tactile celebration of contrast and craftsmanship, For the Love of Texture invites the eye to wander and the hand to linger. Layered knots, fringe, and woven ridges flow in harmony—each detail a quiet ode to the sensory richness of fibre art. A personal work, made to ground and soften the space it inhabits.

  • nightfall

    Macramé, cotton cord

    200 x 190 cm

A bold and rhythmic triptych, Nightfall plays with symmetry and shadow to evoke the hush of twilight. Layered knots and deep navy fibres create visual texture and quiet drama—an homage to the beauty found in stillness, endings, and the softness of closing light.

"Knotted by Hand’s process felt like a true partnership, resulting in a bespoke piece that enhances every aspect of my space" — Interior Designer, Melbourne

Fibre art is more than a craft—it’s an experience.

It’s about creating spaces that resonate, where every detail is intentional, from the textures that invite touch to the energy that grounds the room.

Through thoughtful design, fibre art becomes a meaningful part of how a space feels.

  • choice of Materials

My work begins with a deep appreciation for natural materials like organic cotton, wool, and driftwood, chosen for their beauty and sustainability. While I prioritise eco-friendly resources, I’m open to exploring alternative materials that best suit the needs of each unique project, ensuring every piece is crafted with care and intention.

  • Collaborative Design Solutions

No two spaces are alike, and neither are my installations. From large-scale, statement pieces to more intimate works, I design art that feels seamless and intentional, elevating spaces without overpowering them.

  • Organic fibre art displayed in a contemporary home, highlighting unique textures and craftsmanship.

    art that solves design dilemmas

My work does more than add beauty to a room—it solves challenges.

Whether it’s creating a focal point, enhancing acoustics, or bringing a calming presence to a busy space, each piece is as functional as it is beautiful.

MEET ME

Kasia, the founder and artist behind Knotted by Hand, began her journey with a vision: to redefine fibre art as a modern, architectural form of expression. Inspired by the raw beauty of natural materials, Kasia crafts each piece to not only enhance a space visually but to create a grounding, harmonious presence that complements its design and purpose.
